When sharing photos of your farm life on social media, showcase safe practices! Don't photograph children in the back of pickups, as extra riders, or near large equipment. Let's model safety for the next generation. https://cultivatesafety.org/campaigns/media-guidelines/

During busy seasons like harvest, visibility is crucial. Dress children in bright, reflective clothing (think bright orange, yellow, and green) so they are easily seen by machinery operators at all times. Use caution signs around your property. www.cultivatesafety.org

ATVs & UTVs: The Fun and the Risk!

These powerful machines have soared in popularity for recreation and work—think towing, hauling, even snow plowing! 🌲❄️ But remember: with great fun comes great responsibility.

Every year, over 100,000 ER visits & around 650 deaths occur due to ATV/UTV incidents. Shockingly, up to 50% involve children! These vehicles can weigh 2,000+ lbs and are prone to rollovers—especially on paved roads. ⚠️

Safety First:
✅ Always wear a helmet!
✅ Don't overload or add passengers on ATVs.
✅ Be aware of your surroundings.

What’s *legal* isn’t always *safe*. Ride smart. Ride to live! https://cultivatesafety.org/campaigns/atvs/

Farms are amazing places for children to grow up, but it's important to remember they are also active workplaces, not playgrounds. 🚜 Let's set clear boundaries to keep our kids safe! Establish rules like "no entry into busy work areas without an adult" and help them understand the difference between play zones and work zones. www.cultivatesafety.org/play
