Cookies for our Community Heros

Martin Girl Scouts Troop 76315 surpassed their goal of 2000 boxes by over 700. These girls put in countless hours and received numerous donations. Their destination of choice for the donated boxes was none other than the tummies of our local heroes and people they look up to. In attendance here are some of the Martin Volunteer Fire Department, Bennett County Ambulance crew, Bennett County Sheriff's Department, OST Highway Safety, and of course, your local Girl Scouts. Thank you so much to this community for the continued support of our girls!

You have the power to help lower this statistic by taking simple preventive steps. Screening tests can find polyps that can be removed before they turn into cancer. These tests may also detect colorectal cancer early when treatment is more successful.

Don't forget to join us for Wellness Wednesday tomorrow, March 18! It's a simple, effective way to prioritize your health and get a head start on your wellness goals.

Your Health is Your Greatest Asset—Invest in It! 🩺✨
Taking care of your heart and mind starts with knowing your numbers. Wellness Wednesday Labs are a vital tool for proactive health management, offering a simple way to check in on your body even when you feel fine.

Why These Labs Are So Important:
Catch the "Silent" Issues early: Conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and kidney disease often develop without obvious symptoms. Routine blood work can detect early warning signs—like elevated cholesterol or blood sugar—before they become serious emergencies.

Support Your Emotional Wellness: Your physical and mental health are deeply connected. Imbalances in the body—such as Vitamin B12 or Vitamin D deficiencies, thyroid dysfunction, or chronic inflammation—can mimic or worsen symptoms of anxiety, fatigue, and depression. Lab testing helps rule out these physical causes and gives you a clearer path to mental clarity.

Establish Your "Baseline": Having a record of your health markers over time allows your provider to spot small shifts before they turn into problems.

Accessibility & Peace of Mind: Many Wellness Wednesday programs offer discounted, walk-in services without needing a doctor’s order, making it easier than ever to prioritize your well-being.

Don’t wait for a "reason" to check on your health. Use this Wednesday to get the data you need to live your best, most vibrant life! 💙
