📢 WORLD AIDS DAY AWARENESS— Thank You, Skyhawks!
Today, Student Health & Counseling Services partnered with the ETA XI Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. to bring a powerful Live Billboard awareness display to the University Center.

🖤 Students stood in all black.
📄 They held bold, brief messages.
🚶 Skyhawks stopped, read, and reflected.

Together, we spread facts, not fear, highlighted the importance of HIV testing, and helped reduce stigma across campus. Thank you to everyone who paused and learned something new!

🧪 Spooky Mocktails: Poison & Potions 👻
Our “mocktail lab” wasn’t just about sipping spooky drinks — it was about learning what’s really in your cup.

Too often, college students accept drinks without asking what’s in them, or mix substances thinking it’s harmless fun. Our Healthy Hawk volunteers shed light on the real dangers of:
⚠️ Mixing alcohol with other substances
⚠️ Letting others add to your drink “just because it looks pretty”
⚠️ Not asking questions about what you’re drinking

Behind every “potion” was a lesson — some glitter isn’t safe, and not every sparkle is worth the risk. ✨

💡 Know your limits. Know your drink. Protect your peace.

Most of us wouldn’t swap a lollipop with someone else once it’s been in their mouth — germs, right? 🤢 But how often do we think about the same concept when it comes to our health and our relationships?
