Meet the team!

Up next is Flight Nurse Brandon Ferguson. Brandon began his EMS career in 2007 as an EMT and earned his Paramedic certification in 2010, later advancing to Critical Care Paramedic in 2013. His experience includes working with multiple EMS agencies and emergency departments throughout Western Kentucky.

He joined Air Evac Lifeteam in 2014 and went on to obtain his Registered Nurse license in 2018. Brandon is dual certified as a Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) and a Flight Paramedic (FP-C), demonstrating his commitment to excellence in critical care and air medical transport. He has completed more than 1,350 patient flights.

Outside of work, Brandon is a devoted father to his two children, Evan and Alivia, and enjoys life at home with their family dog, R***r.

Meet our team!

We start with our leader, Kent Martin, who began his career in emergency medical services in 1982 as an EMT and advanced to the level of Paramedic in 1985. He joined Air Evac Lifeteam in September 2002 as a Flight Paramedic and was promoted to Base Lead Medic in July 2003. In 2006, Kent transitioned into leadership as a Program Director. Kent has played a key role in expanding Air Evac’s coverage into the northern region of West Tennessee and establishing long-standing relationships with the communities and agencies the program serves. Since 2013, Kent has served as Senior Program Director, providing leadership and oversight for Bases 31, 37, 75, 123, 143, 159, and 175.

Kent is married to his wife, Rhonda, and is the proud father of his daughter, Alivia.

A PR event was held at Clarksburg School. It was a wonderful occasion to spend time with kids across different age groups. A big thank you to Amanda Derryberry for the invite.

Today our crew got to celebrate our local ER nurses by dropping off some shirts! We are so thankful for the wonderful staff at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer ER! Happy emergency nurses week!
