Now that everyone knows… Brandy is back! 🎉 We decorated her door, enjoyed pizza together, and surprised her with a few welcome-back-to-work gifts to celebrate her return. She was definitely missed by both our residents and staff! ❤️

She also brought the sweetest newest member of the Greenbrier family for everyone to see on Thursday, and our friends absolutely loved the special visit! 🥰 We are so happy to have her back with us!

🎉 Happy Birthday, Peggy! 🎉

Peggy celebrated her special day with a meal she picked herself — delicious chicken pot pie casserole and salad! Her sister joined her for lunch and surprised her with the BEST ice cream cake from DQ, which everyone enjoyed. 🍦🎂

Peggy asked for a new shirt and some Kleenex, and she also received a few other goodies to make her day extra special.

We hope you had a wonderful birthday, Peggy, and felt celebrated all day long!

✨🎭 Happy Mardi Gras! 🎭✨

Today we celebrated Mardi Gras with a special New Orleans–themed meal! Our friends enjoyed delicious roast beef po’ boys, spinach dip with crackers, and Mardi Gras–themed sugar cookies for dessert.

We searched everywhere for a king cake, but they were completely sold out — so we made the best of it with lots of festive fun instead! 💜💛💚 Our friends had a wonderful time wearing their masks, enjoying the food, and celebrating together.

Laissez les bons temps rouler — let the good times roll! 🎉

Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️

Our friends started celebrating Valentine’s Day early thanks to Alpha Delta Kappa (Teachers Association), who brought four delicious homemade cakes for supper last night — and they were a huge hit!

Today, everyone enjoyed a wonderful meal of roast with potatoes, carrots, and a roll, followed by some sweet leftovers from last night: red velvet, coconut, and strawberry cake! 🍰

We are so thankful for the kindness and love shown to our friends. It truly made their Valentine’s celebration extra special! 💕

Our friends are all ready for the big game! We enjoyed lasagna, salad, and garlic breadsticks — yum! 😋 And for dessert? A Super Bowl cake that was almost too good to cut! 🎂❤️

Let the game, the commercials, and the halftime fun begin! 🥳📺

Happy 100th Birthday, Marjorie! 🎉🎂
What an incredible milestone!

We celebrated this special day by letting Marjorie choose her birthday lunch—and she picked a delicious roast! Her nephews made the day even sweeter with a beautiful cake and flowers, and one even gifted her a shirt that says, “It took me 100 years to look this good!” 😄✨ So perfect!

We also loved gifting her some personal care goodies to help her feel extra special. This is our very first birthday celebration with Marjorie, and what a meaningful one it was. We are so honored to celebrate 100 amazing years of her life with her!

🎄✨ Merry Christmas to everyone from all of us! ✨🎄

Our hearts were so full watching the magic of Christmas come to life here. Last night, our little elves worked hard setting out the special gifts the staff lovingly picked for each resident, all ready to be opened this morning. The smiles, joy, and excitement were truly priceless. ❤️

We then shared a wonderful Christmas meal of ham, sweet potato casserole, black-eyed peas, dressing, deviled eggs, rolls, and finished with banana pudding or pecan pie. 🥧

Moments like these remind us that Christmas is about love, togetherness, and making memories that warm the heart. We are so thankful for our residents, families, and staff who make Greenbrier feel like home. 🎁🎄
