In August of 2018 I was faced with physical issues that was leaving only one choice, close down my business. Someone mentioned CBD and I hadn’t heard that much about it so I did what I do. I hit the internet and started researching. For hours that turned into days I read every thing I could, good and bad. I came to a couple conclusions - that understanding the Endocannabinoid System it made sense that this had a great potential of helping me AND I needed to spend more hours that would turn into days really tearing apart every brand and their business so that I knew what ever I would chose to use in the end, was really what it said it was. Because at that time one of the most important things I had learned was that with no regulations everything that said it was CBD was not. It has been about a year and a half now that I’ve had my life back. Since a lot of things that I have brought into the salon as services or products have come from personal use of non pharmaceutical ways to deal with different physical issues, this is no different. We started with a Broad Spectrum CBD Product and in a short amount of time were offering Tinctures, Gummies, Terpene Oils, Topicals and Coffee. I completed my first Certification on CBD’s effect on multiple medical issues. I started my second Certification - a much more intense program through the Cannabis Training University - and started learning about Full Spectrum CBD and it’s benefits. Once I found what I believed to be the best Full Spectrum product I brought them in for our customers. This helped broaden what and who we could help. Through out this process I know there is so much more to come. Since the December 20, 2018 Farm Bill was signed by our President, research has gone full steam ahead. New Cannabinoids are being found on a regular basis and all of them have an ability to help on a more specific level. I continue to follow these findings and incorporate as much of the new products into our line up as possible. I also use the information to help inform and educate all of our customers. I believe it’s extremely important for everyone to understand how this works with our own physical make up. It’s just not enough for someone to look at me and say “ Oh just try it”, I need to know all about it. So I believe in answering every question anyone has before they make a decision to try CBD products to help them with what they are living with. I firmly believe the use of pharmaceuticals with side effects and addictive properties are not really helping anyone, and I hope that we continue to find more Natural ways to find relief from physical and mental pain and illness.
