Fall feels like the perfect season to slow down, cozy up, and focus on nourishing body and mind—here’s what’s on my wellness bucket list this season.
Mind & Body Reset
🍂 Seasonal goal setting – check in with your intentions and create a fall “vision list.”
📓 Journaling prompts – reflect on what you want to release (like the trees dropping leaves) and what you want to call in.
🧘 Grounding practices – nature walks, forest bathing, or even 5 minutes of mindful breath outside in the crisp air.
Nutrition & Nourishment
🍲 Embrace warming foods – soups, stews, roasted root vegetables, and spiced teas.
🍎 Eat seasonally – apples, squash, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and cranberries.
☕ Upgrade your beverages – golden milk, chai, or homemade herbal teas instead of sugary lattes.
🥗 Support gut health – add fermented foods (sauerkraut, kimchi, kefir) to strengthen immunity for cold/flu season.
Immune Support
🌞 Vitamin D check-in – as daylight shortens, supplements or safe sun exposure may be helpful.
🌿 Herbal support – elderberry, echinacea, astragalus, and medicinal mushrooms can help.
💉 Preventive care – IV drips, immune shots, or boosting nutrients like vitamin C + zinc before sick season.
Lifestyle & Home
🕯️ Cozy your environment – candles, warm lighting, essential oils (clove, cinnamon, orange).
🛏️ Prioritize sleep – adjust bedtime to match shorter daylight hours and support your circadian rhythm.
🧹 Declutter + seasonal cleaning – prepare your space for nesting during colder months.
📖 Slow living rituals – swap endless scrolling for reading, puzzles, or creative hobbies.
Movement
🚶♀️ Fall hikes/walks – soak up the colors while getting fresh air and exercise.
🏋️ Try a new fitness challenge – strength training indoors or group classes that kick off in fall.
🧘 Yoga & stretching – help counter cooler weather stiffness.
