Tip of the Day:

Just because something is "good for your body," doesn't mean you necessarily NEED it!

Let me explain.

There are many things you can supplement, but you can also waste a TON of money going into it uneducated. I came back to this industry to prevent that from happening. I want the opposite! I want you to be so educated that you can save a bunch of money and time!

First, it's important to know what a supplement truly is. I like this definition:
Supplement- a substance taken to remedy the deficiencies in a person's diet.

The intent of a supplement is to fill gaps in our diets. The MOST important thing we can do is have a well-balanced diet, high in protein! This is the focus!

With the focus on correcting our diet, many supplements become unnecessary, because there aren't as many gaps.

My example for this post will be amino acids/peptides. These are important for your body, and it is great to make sure you utilize them.

What if your body already does?

Did you know that proteins are just chains of amino acids? When the body breaks down proteins, it turns them into amino acids. Peptides are specific chains of amino acids and are also made from the breaking down of proteins.

This means a high protein diet will provide all the amino acids and peptides your body will need. This ultimately makes it useless to supplement these things, because they are already plentiful.

Many more cases exist. I'm not going to bore you with all the other examples.

My point is, companies will make claims about something naturally occurring in our bodies being good for you. They make big promises about what they can do. The truth is, most of us should be aiming for a well-balanced, high protein diet!

This is the dieting secret!

Are detoxes a scam? 🤔

How many times have you heard someone recommend a detox before starting a diet? I know I've heard it many times, but is this a good idea? The short answer is no.

There have been numerous studies on this exact topic. What do they say? There is no scientific correlation between a detox program and improved long-term health or sustainable weight loss.

Let's not forget the incredible systems in our bodies that are made specifically for detoxification: your liver and kidneys. These organs are working 24/7 to flush out waste naturally—you don't need an expensive tea to do their job for them.

Turns out God knew what he was doing when we were created!

Detoxes also significantly reduce your calorie intake, often to a dangerous level, which can temporarily stress your body and potentially damage your metabolism over time.

My Science-Backed Advice

Skip the cleanses and focus on the sustainable fundamentals:

Start the diet: Focus on a moderate, consistent caloric deficit.
Exercise: Move your body regularly.
Hydrate: Water is essential for every metabolic process.
Eat plenty of protein (as part of a balanced diet) to support muscle and satiety.

Remember: Many of the claims these supplement companies make are largely under no regulation! Always choose evidence-based nutrition over quick fixes.

Ever tried a "10-minute ab blast" and ended up just... slightly winded and confused?

Yeah, me too. The truth is, quick-fix workouts are about as effective as trying to parallel park a bus while blindfolded.

As your online coach, I skip the nonsense. No magic pills, no crazy fads—just a personalized, science-backed plan to help you build a routine that actually works. We'll get you strong, confident, and healthier!

Is the Supplement Industry Full of Nonsense? 🧐

Yes, it can be! While there are many great supplements backed by research, the industry is also full of misleading products and straight-up scams. It can be tough to know what's legit, so here are some red flags to watch out for:

Unbelievable claims: If a product promises a specific, dramatic result like "gain 10 lbs of muscle in 2 weeks," it's a huge red flag. Real results take time and hard work!

"DM me for details" schemes: Legitimate companies don't make you jump through hoops. If a post tells you to message someone to find out more, be skeptical.

Buzzwords and "miracle" ingredients: Be wary of trendy terms like "KETO coffee." Fun fact: plain black coffee is already carb-free!

Claims that sound too good to be true: This is a classic. If a supplement sounds like a magic pill that will do all the work for you, it's likely a scam.

So, What's the Truth?

Quality supplements are backed by years of scientific research. The best way to protect yourself is to do your own research. Don't just trust a company's marketing—look for independent studies that support their claims.

The only "secret" to results is hard work, consistency, and a smart approach. There are no shortcuts.

I'll be diving deeper into specific supplements in future posts, so stay tuned!

Happy Friday!

I just wanted to make my intentions clear. I am here to help you all filter through some of the nonsense!

I have wasted tons of time, trying things I heard from a "professional" online. These things led to me being miserable mentally and physically. This can be very frustrating and discouraging!

If you have fallen for these same things, don't lose hope. The secret is that there are no secrets. If you hear about some new product that makes promises that sound way too good to be true, you're right. It is too good to be true.

Once I stopped trying to figure out a secret, and instead focused on the tried and true approach, everything started to fall in place for me.

There's much more to come, so stay tuned!

Hey everyone!

Miss me? Maybe not!

As many of you know, I have another business that takes up most of my time. However, while building it, I've had the unfortunate opportunity to listen to all kinds of information. I've realized that most of what you hear is misleading, often leading to unnecessarily spending money on things that don't work!

I pride myself on being the opposite. All the advice you see on TikTok has confused most of you and wasted your precious time. I'm making a return to this page to defend against that! You can trust this page as your source for transparency and real results.

More to come about training programs in the future!

Number 1 most useless news article!

Every single machine on this list has it's purpose. Just because a machine isolates a muscle doesn't make it "useless" at all!

Read through these and do the opposite!

I hear a ton of people talking about how you can't get a good workout at Planet Fitness, because they don't have free weights.

First of all, this is not an advertisement for Planet Fitness. The point of this post is to show you that you can get a good workout anywhere!

Planet Fitness doesn't have a free barbell. They have weighted barbells, but there is no option to add weight. So, this is usually where the complaint comes in.

First of all, to the new gym-goer, this will not be an issue for you. Barbells are great, but I've seen way too many people ego-lift and hurt themselves.

Honestly, there are so many things that you can do, without Barbells, it's insane! Planet has dumbells which are my go-to!

Barbells have their place, but they definitely aren't needed for a "good" workout.

If you think outside the box, and use cables or dumbells, to work the same muscles targeted in your favorite barbell exercise, you'll have an awesome workout.

*There are exceptions for athletes training Barbell specific sports like powerlifting. Even then, Powerlifters could still occasionally train without a barbell!

Here goes nothing!

Again, I'm here to spread awareness! There is so much garbage out there. With that being said, I'm here to prevent people from wasting their time and money on these bogus products/programs!

So, today let's just clear the water.

First, there is nothing more discouraging than being loaded with motivation, and getting zero results from these products.

So, what do you need to know?

If something sounds too good to be true, IT IS!! There are no pills, liquids, "super"foods or any other product that will be a game changer. There's no amount of a vitamin, mineral, herb, superfood (blah blah blah) that will out-work your bad diet.

Step 1 to any effective program is to set a calorie goal, and stick to it as much as you can! I'm happy to help anyone setup a calorie goal! Just reach out to me!

As many of you know, I recently started an automotive business! This has been a challenging new adventure!

Due to this new schedule, I'm not as available for in person sessions. However, I will have availability!

My goal for this platform is to tackle all the garbage fitness advice! More than I have in the past! Stay tuned 🤣

P.S. I will still continue to take online training clients, for those interested!

08/01/2022

Good Morning Guys!

I've been asked about in-person training quite a bit lately, and I just wanted to share what's going on!

With my schedule, I am unable to take on any additional in-person training clients at this time!

However, I will continue to train the clients I currently have in-person!

Remember, I do offer online training, which will likely be my only form of fitness training in the future! You can always sign up for online coaching!

There are several spots open!

I appreciate you all!
