Telehealth visits during the COVID-19 response

The rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus (coronavirus) has impacted all aspects of our daily lives and placed a great deal of strain on our healthcare systems. Our priority is keeping our patients and staff healthy. To do so, we must do everything we can to comply with the recommendations to limit person-to-person contact.

Grove Street Clinic is now providing most of our care virtually (telehealth/telemedicine), either by video or phone. This options allows you to continue to get the care you need in the safety of your home or work. We are able to do Telehealth visits for follow up on chronic conditions, illnesses (cough, fever, urinary symptoms), medication follow up, and many other reasons.

We will continue to provide in-person care that is considered medically necessary and cannot be provided virtually. At this time, most insurances are covering Telehealth appointments. If you do not have insurance or your insurance does not cover the Telehealth appointment, the cost of the appointment is $80 for a 15 min appointment and $100 for a 30 min appointment. Copays, co-insurance and payments will need to be made at the beginning of the appointment.

We are unable to do COVID-19 testing as we continue to lack the proper protective gear for the staff.

Grove Street Clinic will provide for all of your health care needs in the safest way. During this time of uncertainty, we want to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to provide the best care possible. Please take precautions. Wash your hands regularly; stay at home and away from large groups of people; and cover your cough. We care about you and our community and want to keep everyone safe.

Please share this post with your friends and family. We want to be sure that all of our patients are aware that we are here for them, either in the clinic or through Telehealth.

We are unable to do COVID-19 testing as we continue to lack the proper protective gear for the staff. We are able to do Telehealth visits for illnesses, medication follow up, and many other reasons.

If you are interested in scheduling a Telehealth appointment, PLEASE make sure your insurance will cover the appointment prior to scheduling. At this time, not all plans have Telehealth coverage. If your insurance does not cover the Telehealth appointment, the cost of the appointment is $80 for a 15 min appointment and $100 for a 30 min appointment. We have been in contact with the Snohomish County Health Department. We have been informed that we are NOT authorized to do the COVID19 testing due to the lack of proper protective equipment for our staff.
If you are concerned that you could have COVID19, please go to a local walk in or use the e-visits available to everyone.

03/10/2020

Due to the lack of Personal Protective Equipment for our staff (appropriate masks and gowns) we are unable to test for the COVID19.
The CDC is requesting that you stay home if you are having mild upper respiratory symptoms.
If you are concerned and are having lower respiratory symptoms (pneumonia like symptoms) please go to a local walk in clinic or urgent care.
We apologize for the inconvenience but this is for the safety and protection of our staff.
