Teens on electric bicycles on Soper Hill Road:

For those of you who are unaware The speed limit on Soper Hill road is 35. Now I say that because RARELY do I see cars driving under the speed limit. The most common is 45 to 50 mph.

Today while I was out gardening, I saw a young boy going down the hill at full speed on his electric bicycle texting while driving in the middle of the road.

As cool as that may be to drive without your hands, this road isn’t the place to do it.

The average amount of cars traveling on this road is 92 cars in 10 minutes. And that count was at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.

The last accident we had on this road was in broad daylight - a woman drunk driving from Coconut. Kenny’s landed in my neighbors yard.

Parents, I know you want to give your children freedom, but make sure they know the rules of the road and find a less busy road to travel on.
