I am officially the medical director of all of Viaquest Hospice, based in the states of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana. As a board certified Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician, my aim is to bring Viaquest to the next level, meaning palliative care and no patient turned away. This will take some time but with community support, we can make this happen!

Flu shots start next week! By appointment only in the morning, or walk-in Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday 1-4 pm. We will also be strongly recommending the RSV vaccine at the same time for those over age 60.

We started a new EMR called Epic in September. Through this you can access MyChart, a much more effective portal than our last one. You can request refills, message us, etc. It’s quite easy.

That being said, I’m asking that you respect my private time with my family. We are a group practice and someone is always available for emergencies if you call our main office line. This is the opposite of a concierge practice, where you may directly message your physician at all times. Text or Facebook messenger requests will no longer be answered. I’m working a lot of extra hours due to the new medical record.

Should you have trouble getting a hold of us, this needs to be tracked. My office manager Kelly Bidwell asks that all complaints about this go directly to her. Again, MyChart would be a great way to do this.
