This academy equips parents, caregivers and communites with tools to create early learning opportunities for their young children. Some of our preschool staff had the opportunity to participate in the amazing Ooey Gooey, Inc conference this weekend.

The heart of the "Ooey Gooey" philosophy is a mission to transform early childhood education by reinforcing the power of play. Lisa Murphy's work focuses on what it truly means to run a child-centered, play-based environment.The main takeaway is a deeper understanding of the "Why" behind every activity and every material we provide. Play is not just time to pass; it is the glue that holds the entire foundation of learning together. By providing hands-on, sensory-rich (Ooey Gooey) experiences, we are ensuring children are actively engaging in the fundamental things they need to build their future academic success. I absolutely LOVE seeing our students engaging in fun, engaging and messy activities you plan for their learning.

Our preschoolers joined the Red Ribbon Week festivites at Yuba Feather Elementary School Wildcats. Huge shout out to the Foothill Volunteer Fire Department for visiting and teaching us all about being prepared for emergencies.

📣 Emergency Food Distribution📣

With CalFresh funding currently paused due to the federal government shutdown, many local families are facing uncertainty this month. To help fill the gap, we are hosting an Emergency Food Distribution on Saturday, November 8th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at 850 Gray Ave, Yuba City.

If your household is affected or in need of extra support, please mark your calendars. No one in our community should have to worry about their next meal. 💚🧡

PLEASE NOTE this will be an in-person pick-up (no drive-through service). Volunteers will be available to assist with carrying food if needed. Please park your car, and approach the line by the distribution table upon arrival.
