We're thrilled to announce that Bloom Well Counseling is moving to a new location! Starting Monday, November 3rd, we'll be welcoming clients at our new space:

Exciting news! HeartLight has some great events coming up! What's Your Grief is presenting Supporting Grieving Clients: Continuing Bonds and Holiday Traditions for Professionals.

For many grieving people, the holidays can feel overwhelming. Traditions and rituals that once brought comfort can now feel painful or empty, leaving families unsure how to navigate the season. This session is for grief and mental health professionals who want to better understand how ritual can help during times of loss. We’ll look at research on the role of ritual in grief and the concept of continuing bonds, exploring why these ideas matter when supporting clients through the holidays. The session will cover:

-How grief disrupts familiar traditions—and how new or adapted rituals can help people cope
-Ways to use clients’ own values to guide meaningful holiday choices
-Practical tools to help grievers stay connected to those they’ve lost

No matter what you celebrate, it’s important to know that you aren’t alone during holidays. HeartLight Center are offering a Grief and the Holidays Workshop in partnership with Smith’s Funeral Home. This is a way to get some support and helpful tips when grieving around the holiday season. We will discuss coping with emotions, how to handle triggering traditions, and ways to navigate social and familial events. 🤍
