Sorry to make a “bad mood post” but I’m wide awake in the middle of the night irritated because all I’ve done this week is deal with things that irk me. So, I feel the need to go over a few things.
1) I don’t take phone calls. There are 3 ways to message me where I can respond at a convenient time and there are 2 places that you can just look at my whole schedule and make your appointment. If those things won’t work for you then I’m probably not the therapist for you.
2) I don’t do “deep tissue” Current clients should know I will work deeper into spots as needed after getting the nervous system to cooperate…but if you’re coming in with a “please make it hurt” attitude…I’m also not the one for you. I actually believe super deep tissue is the opposite of helpful and it literally hurts me. If I have to do 4 hours of “beat me up” I’m going to be miserable for the rest of the week. I won’t be able to help all the people I would like to. I’m an almost 50 year old woman who’s trying to keep doing this for a long time. And I repeat…it’s actually not good for your nervous system.
3) Can’t believe I have to keep saying this but this is aimed specifically at the men. You WILL get banned. Your wife will find out. I may even call the police to report you….We don’t ask for hugs or dates or for me to go “higher on the leg” since you’re “not shy” Anything slightly inappropriate is a no go because it’s literally never innocent and I won’t put myself in those situations.
I’ll probably delete this once I wake up. Hope it doesn’t come off the wrong way.
