These awards recognize Mosaic Medical Center - Maryville caregivers who go above and beyond, demonstrating compassion, respect, quality, and excellence in the care they provide to patients and families. Congratulations, Dawn and Bryli!

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱
Maurice Peve has been a faithful supporter of the hospital in Maryville for many years. Three years ago, Maurice made a generous gift that enabled Mosaic Medical Center – Maryville to build the caregiver zone and create the art experience exhibit. With this gift, the St. Francis Foundation was able to establish an endowment that funds an annual award in Maurice’s name.

The award is presented each year during the annual holiday meal. Each deserving caregiver receives a $500 check and a bicycle pin.

Four years ago we produced this video highlighting the impact Merlin Atkins had on the community through his work and ministry in the food pantry. This video was made to honor him with the 2021 Spirit of St. Francis Award.

Today, as he was laid to rest, we are humbled again as we remember his compassion, generosity, and service to those in need. Well done, good and faithful servant.
