If you have a Humana Medicare Advantage plan, you can make changes or switch plans during the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period which runs January 1 through March 31. "On March 3, 2023, our 36-year-old son Eric passed away unexpectedly. It was later determined that a genetic mutation (KCNE1) contributed to his death, as it predisposes those with the mutation to life-threatening arrhythmias. Since then, our family has been tested and many of our family members carry this gene.

I set up a Facebook Fundraiser for the SADS Foundation in our son's memory, not only to raise money, but to make people aware of this extremely important organization.

The process was simple, and I raised more money than I had initially anticipated. I will continue to support the SADS foundation as they help families learn about and understand the role of genetics in our lives."
