HPV Awareness Day

DID YOU KNOW?

The HPV vaccine is recommended for both boys and girls.

HPV is common and can cause several types of cancer later in life, including cervical, throat, a**l, and other cancers.

Vaccinating early provides strong, long-lasting protection before exposure.

The HPV vaccine is cancer prevention. For everyone.

CG Public Health recommends HPV vaccination starting at age 11–12, and it can be given as early as age 9.

Understanding Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC)
Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) is a unique and aggressive form of breast cancer that does not have the three main receptors—estrogen, progesterone, and HER2—that are typically targeted in many breast cancer treatments. Because of this, the therapies that work for other breast cancer types may not be effective for TNBC.
TNBC accounts for 10–15% of all breast cancer cases and has a disproportionate impact on younger women and Black women, making awareness and prevention especially important.
While not all risk factors can be controlled, you can take steps to protect your health:

âś… Maintain a healthy weight
âś… Stay physically active
âś… Limit alcohol consumption
