Mark and Rachel Healy - Senior Care Advisors

Mark and Rachel Healy know the challenges that families face when the time comes to move their aging loved ones. They have personally experienced the challenges and the stresses of having to make many decisions with few resources. They moved Rachel's parents from rural Virginia to Ohio and had to go through the process of sorting and packing up the family home where Rachel's parents had lived the last 40 years of life. They had to quickly find an acute care facility for her father as well as housing for her mother to live independently. They know the stresses facing the family and the loved ones they are caring for. They want to lessen some of that burden by being trusted partners in offering quality resources, compassion, and care in the process.

Mark has been a physical therapist for 30+ years working specifically with seniors for the last 20+ in a variety of settings. Rachel has a background in medical laboratory science, health insurance, and customer service. With their experience both professional and personal, they know how to advocate for patients in the healthcare system. They decided to bring the Senior Care Authority to the Cincinnati area in order to put those skills together with a company that has the goal of helping families navigate senior living challenges.

Mark graduated from The Ohio State University and received a master's degree from the University of Cincinnati. Rachel graduated from East Tennessee State University with an associate degree in medical laboratory science. They are blessed with 7 adult children and 5 wonderful grandchildren. They enjoy spending time with family, reading, traveling, sports and being present for their grandchildren. They are excited for the opportunity to assist families in making successful transitions in finding the best living situation for their loved ones.
