Feel Good Friday ❄️🎅✨

We’ve had so much fun practicing our target sounds this week! From making Santa crafts, finding hidden words in the “snow,” opening pretend presents, and building gingerbread houses, our Christmas and winter activities have been full of learning and laughter. ❤️🎄

It’s hard to believe Christmas is almost here! ⛄️🎁

We have a couple openings during Christmas vacation if you’d like to schedule an evaluation while school is out and start the new year strong. 🌟

❄️✨ The snow may be melting outside, but our festive winter wonderland fun is still going strong in therapy! ✨❄️
This week, our friends are sending Santa down the chimney as they practice their sounds, hunting for target items in our snowy sensory bin, and “building” gingerbread houses while practicing requesting, describing, and so much more. 🍬🏠🎅
These play-based activities make learning joyful—and build real communication skills at the same time. ❤️

This video is such a great reminder of how important it is to pronounce sounds correctly when teaching reading and writing. It’s exciting to see phonics instruction finally aligning with what we’ve known for years about the role of phonological awareness. ✨🎄 Feel Good Friday! 🎄✨

Best part of this week was having all my little friends working on articulation help decorate our office Christmas tree! Each friend made a special ornament while practicing all their articulation sounds, and adding them to the tree made it feel extra magical. 💛⛄️

Nothing like holiday cheer mixed with hard work and great speech sounds! 🎅📚❄️

❄️🎄 Continuing our winter wonderland fun! 🎄❄️

Our friendly snowmen are keeping a close eye on all the hard work happening during speech sessions—they’ve been very impressed! ⛄💙

Some of our friends even practiced their spelling to communicate and write letters to Santa. And of course, Santa’s special mailbox is filling up fast with all our “letters” packed full of good sounds so he can hear just how amazing our speech is! 🎅📬✨

❄️✨ Snow Day Shenanigans ✨❄️

While the snow has been falling, we’ve been busy turning the office into a cozy winter wonderland! Think sparkly window clings, festive touches, and the first ornaments finding their way onto our Christmas tree. 🎄⛄️

A huge shoutout to all our amazing friends who braved the cold and snowy weather today. You’ve been total troopers getting back into the therapy routine after Thanksgiving break, and we’re so proud of you! 💙❄️

✨ Feel Good Friday! ✨
Best part of this week? Listening to one of our amazing students spell a story all about their feelings on life! 💬 They titled it “Terrible Twos” and spelled out:
“The baby needs mom all the time—when will it grow up?”
Now that’s some incredible spontaneous communication of thoughts and emotions! 💕
