Today is Trans Day of Visibility.

A day meant to celebrate, uplift, and honor transgender people —their courage, their beauty, their truth.

And yet… this year feels different.

Heavier. More somber.

Because while visibility can bring celebration, it can also bring risk.
And right now, many trans people are carrying more than their fair share of fear, scrutiny, and harm.

So today, we hold both.

We celebrate the joy, the strength, the resilience.

And we acknowledge the reality—that too many are fighting just to live and stay safe.

To every trans person reading this:

We see you.
We honor you.
We are grateful for you.

And we will keep showing up —
not just in celebration, but in protection, advocacy, and love.

Because visibility should never come at the cost of safety.

And because you deserve more than visibility…

You deserve respect.
You deserve freedom.
You deserve to live fully and openly as your true self.

Today and every day we stand with you. 💙🏳️‍⚧️

First Day of Spring 🌱

As the seasons change, your mental health can shift too.

Many people are familiar with seasonal depression during the winter months—but fewer people realize that spring can bring its own challenges.

With increased sunlight and changes in circadian rhythm, some people experience:

• a boost in energy or restlessness
• changes in sleep patterns
• increased impulsivity
• mood swings

For individuals with mood disorders (especially bipolar spectrum), spring can be a common time for the onset of hypomanic or manic episodes.

Even outside of a diagnosis, this “activation energy” can feel overwhelming if your system is still catching up from winter.

A few ways to support yourself during this transition:

• Keep a consistent sleep/wake schedule
• Notice sudden shifts in energy or mood
• Ease into routines rather than overcommitting
• Stay connected to supports and check in with yourself

This season isn’t about pushing yourself—it’s about regulating with the change.

If you’re noticing shifts in your mood, energy, or behavior, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

🌿 Ravenwise is currently accepting new clients.
Reach out to get connected with support that meets you where you are.

This St. Patrick's Day, remember that the need for human connection is a recognition that we were never meant to carry everything alone. We're built to lean on each other, to be leaned on, and to be strengthened by both. The person who reaches out changes something in the person who receives them. And the person who answers changes something in themselves too. That's where healing happens.
