December Construction Update, brought to you by Beacon! 🪏

🏥 Work continues on the new Medical Office Building, with crews forming foundation walls and installing rebar in preparation for concrete footers.

🅿️ The new parking lot is close to completion as base asphalt is laid and parking spaces are striped. Work is also underway on the pedestrian bridge foundation.

🏠 Construction continues on the Sibcy House expansion, with framing in progress and roofing trusses being set.

Thank you for following along with our construction updates this year—so much progress has been made! We look forward to seeing these projects continue to take shape and welcoming patients, employees, and visitors to enjoy them in 2026.

One of our favorite holiday traditions 🎄 We were proud to host our 🎶 16th Annual Holiday Sing-Along 🎶 bringing together 29 patients, staff, and family members for an evening of music, stories, and connection. Hosted by Dr. Chris Tuell and family, the night featured staff solos, guitar accompaniment, a heartfelt holiday reading, and a joyful rendition of The 12 Days of Christmas with everyone taking part.

Moments like these remind us of the power of community during the holidays. ✨

It’s our favorite time of year 🎄❄️🌟 There’s nothing better than coming together to celebrate the holidays, lift each other up, and of course, play a lively round of holiday bingo led by Dr. Groat.

Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday filled with time spent with the people who support and lift you up! ✨

Grief isn’t just emotional; it’s a complex neurobiological process.

On our blog, Anna Guerdjikova, PhD, LISW, CCRC, explains how loss activates the same brain circuits involved in pain, memory, attachment, and even reward, which is why grief can feel physically overwhelming.

By understanding how the grieving brain works, patients and families can better recognize the real, biological impact of loss, and clinicians can offer more compassionate, effective care.
