Snow shoveling and cold temperatures can be tough on your body, especially your back, shoulders, and knees. Before heading outside, take a few minutes to warm up with light movement, dress in layers to keep muscles warm, and use proper form by bending at your knees and hips instead of your back. Keep the shovel load small, avoid twisting while lifting, and take frequent breaks to prevent strain. If you feel pain during or after shoveling, listen to your body and give it time to recover.
