Danny Lee Yonker, 95, of Mason, WV, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis, OH.

He was born March 21, 1930, in New Haven, WV, a son of Charley and Jessie (Cundiff) Yonker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kent Yonker; grandson, Darren Yonker; siblings, Charles “Buck”, Raymond, Leota, Leona, and Martha.

Danny graduated from Wahama High School, class of 1948, and was a retired Millwright from Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Company, with 37 years of service. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion Post 140, New Haven, WV. Danny was a member of the Mason United Methodist Church where he previously served as an Usher and was also a member of the United Steelworkers Local 5668, Ravenswood, WV. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed square dancing.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 74 years, Charlotte (Cook) Yonker; son, Kevin Yonker of Mason, WV and three grandchildren, Chris, Erik, and Hattie; and great grandson, Dylan Yonker.

Service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, WV, with Pastor Howard Blaine and Neil Tennant officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 12 p.m. until time of the service on Saturday, at the funeral home.

George William Brown, 64, of Mason, WV passed away December 28, 2023 at his residence.
He was born January 12, 1959 in Point Pleasant, WV and was the son of the late Thomas Adam and Julia Ann MacKnight Brown.
He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his three sisters, Lisa Seyler of Mason, Connie Brown of Myrtle Beach, SC and Terri Smith (Mark) of Letart, WV.

Julia Marie Russell, 84, passed away January 4, 2024 in Lenoir City, TN at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born July 11, 1939 in Toronto, OH and was the daughter of the late Dick and Mary Ellen Adams Seyler.
Julia enjoyed cooking, reading, quilting, seamstress work and her beloved pet, Annabelle “Annie.” She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Left behind to cherish her memory, are her four children, Carol Hargett of Crestwood, KY, Rebecca Kaisler (Ty) of Marshfield, MO and Debra Nichol (Doug) of Lenoir City, TN, John Russell (Jill) of Rockport, TX; grandchildren, Shane Grimes (Kim), Brandy Deveraux, Josh Deveraux, Jacey Ahrenholtz, Seth Hargett, Grant Kaisler (Carolina), Leah Elliot (Ricky), Graham Viergets (Rachel), Blake Kaisler and John Gregory Russell “Fella;” 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brother, Lawson Higgins; and two sisters, Sharon Stark and Sandra Sims.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Carolyn, Sue and Gerald Hart; and granddaughter, Brooke Medcalf.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. ~ Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Foglesong-Casto Funeral Home located at 2275 2nd & Pomeroy St. Mason, WV 25260 with burial to follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
