FREE THANKSGIVING MEAL PICKUP FOR SENIORS WHO WILL BE ALONE THIS HOLIDAY
If you know a senior who may be spending Thanksgiving alone, please share this. On Wednesday, November 26th, we’re giving out free Thanksgiving meals so they have a warm, delicious dinner ready for the holiday. 🦃✨

📍 Location: Broadway Gourmet Caterers 893 N Broadway, Massapequa

🕐 When: Wednesday, 11/26 12 PM – 3 PM

🍽 What’s Included: Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and rolls — all packed into to-go containers by our team. Dine in or take out a warm Thanksgiving meal.

✔️ SIGN-UP REQUIRED: To make sure meals go to seniors who truly need them, please message us to sign up or call the Friends for Life Office (516) 900-1818 
Please share with any senior, neighbor, parent, or grandparent who may be spending the holiday alone. No senior should go without a warm Thanksgiving meal. ❤️

Today we donated our annual Thanksgiving lunch to 120 incredible seniors at Grace Church. From serving lunch to enjoying the entertainment, it was a lunch full of gratitude, connection, and community. We’re so thankful for the seniors who trust us and uplift our mission every day. 🤍🍂🍁

Today we visited the Village of Amityville Senior Center with lunch and a special seminar given by Amy! Our seniors were so engaged, asked amazing questions, and truly enjoyed the time together. They have officially become our Friends for Life!!!!! Days like these remind us why we love what we do… supporting, educating, and uplifting our seniors however we can. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It’s always an honor to spend Veterans Day at The Oaks of Broadlawn. Each year, Friends for Life Homecare joins their annual Veterans Breakfast to celebrate the incredible men and women who served our country. The morning is filled with gratitude, laughter, and memories — from looking through old photos and mementos they bring from their time in service, to hearing the stories that shaped their lives. This year, every veteran received a special American flag Friends for Life t-shirt as a small token of our appreciation. We’re forever grateful for their bravery and the opportunity to share this meaningful tradition together. ❤️🇺🇸

What a beautiful day at the West Hempstead Senior Center! ♥️
Our very first seminar there was filled with smiles, laughter, and heartfelt conversations. We met so many wonderful seniors — and left feeling like we made a whole new group of friends!
A big thank-you to our fearless leader, Amy Recco, and our amazing Elder Care Attorney ,Brenda Lynch for leading such an inspiring talk and luncheon sharing valuable information about all the services available through Friends For LIfe. True to form, Amy was her incredible caring self —offering her time and her heart to everyone she met. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
