Lifecare Family Health & Dental Center provides affordable, accessible healthcare services to residents of Canton, Massillon, and surrounding Stark County, Ohio, communities. We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) open to persons of all ages regardless of ability to pay or health insurance status. We offer primary healthcare services for individuals and families, as well as dental care, vision care, women's healthcare, and behavioral health services.

Community Health Centers are a critical access point for oral health care in America.

In 2024 alone:
šŸ¦· 7 million patients relied on Community Health Centers for dental care
šŸ¦· 16.8 million dental visits were delivered nationwide
šŸ¦· 80% of health centers provided dental services

Yet two-thirds of patients still have unmet oral health needs, largely due to gaps in coverage and workforce shortages.

New analysis from the NACHC Dr. John W. Hatch Center for Science explores the role Community Health Centers play in delivering dental careā€”and what it will take to strengthen access moving forward.
