Update on visitation!
The facility is following guidance from PA Dept of Health, CMS, and CDC regarding visitation. Please feel free to site these websites as sources for more detailed information.
The facility is no longer in an outbreak status. The county positivity rate is currently 8.8% and the resident vaccination status is 48%. The facility is planning on hosting a vaccination clinic on 5/25/2021 where we will give the Pfizer vaccination series through Pharmscripts pharmacy. You will get a call if your loved one cannot give consent and is not currently vaccinated.
Delaware Valley will again offer visitation starting tomorrow, 5/11/2021. Visits will be scheduled through the main phone number, extension 501. All visits will be scheduled in 20 minute time slots.
Rules of Visitation:
1. All visitors must undergo screening prior to visit. If you have signs or symptoms of COVID-19, please do not visit.
2. All visitors must be able to adhere to proper mask wearing and social distancing. If you cannot adhere, you will be asked to leave. Children under the age of 12 will not be allowed visitation unless approved by nursing home administrator or director of nursing. Any child too young to understand proper PPE usage or social distancing will not be allowed visitation for the safety of our staff and residents.
Location of Visitation:
Outdoor: All visitation should be held outdoors, as it poses less of a risk. Visits will be scheduled outdoor if weather permits.
Indoor: Indoor visitation will be permitted in the visitation area in event of inclement weather for all vaccinated residents. Residents who are not yet vaccinated may only participate in indoor visitation if the county positivity rate is less than 10% AND more than 70% of our residents are vaccinated. This is currently NOT the case right now.
*** If the resident is not yet vaccinated, visitation will be cancelled if weather is not permitting***
