VA Northern California Health Care System held a Veterans Day ceremony at the Sacramento VA Medical Center.

This event attracted over one hundred people to help celebrate and honor our Veterans from across the Greater Sacramento Region.

The ceremony was followed by a reception and resource fair that featured more than twenty VA services and community partners, providing valuable resources to our local Veterans.

🌟 Recently named VISN 21 Patient Advocate of the Year, Anthony’s dedication and service to our veterans are exemplary.

Highlights of his work:
Chairman, VFAC: Provides invaluable insights and leadership.
Acting VEO: Demonstrated excellent management for 120 days.

Lead Trainer for Tour of Duty Training: Trained 48 employees over 3 days.

Organizer, Veteran Choice Awards: Ensures veteran contributions are recognized.

Voice of the Veteran Meetings: Leads and monitors monthly gatherings.

Collaboration with Veteran Service Organizations: Attends and contributes to various meetings.

His leadership led Chico to achieve two SHEP measures above the National Average.
