We are excited to share that Jennifer Sager, OT/CHT and Yesenia Stavros, OTR/L, CHT will be guest speakers at The Texas Society of Hand Therapy 2026 Annual Educational Conference. Due to their success with the CMMS technique (Casting Motion to Mobilize Stiffness), Jenn and Yesenia are considered experts in the field and will be specifically presenting on “Flexor Tendons: Not a One Size Fits All Approach” and “Differential Ways to Use CMMS.”
Jennifer and Yesenia both received specialized training in Orthotic Fabrication and CMMS to improve hand mobility and reduce pain. CMMS has a proven success in helping patients regain range of motion and function following hand fractures, tendon injuries, and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS).
The Texas Society for Hand Therapy promotes the field of hand therapy through education, research, and fellowship. They seek to bring hand therapists and colleagues in the medical community together, providing the opportunity to maintain the highest methodologies in the clinic while creating new innovative ways to treat patients, blending evidence-based science and art.
