We’re grateful for the NCDHHS Office of Rural Health and their support through the Community Health Grant. Their partnership helps us address social determinants of health—like food insecurity—by stocking our patient shelf with essential staples and providing Thanksgiving meals for families in need.
Stronger rural communities start with strong partnerships. 🤝✨

We’re honored to be awarded a grant from The Rosendin Foundation for the second year in a row!

Their support strengthens our Behavioral Health Program, which provides behavioral health and social determinants of health assessments, along with case management support for our patients.

Today’s “Granting Day” was such a joy — a celebration of nonprofits doing incredible work across our community. Thank you, Rosendin Foundation, for believing in our mission! 💙

Join us at Matthews Free Medical Clinic for a Community Resource Event on November 21st from 8:30AM – 4 PM!
This special day is open to everyone — come explore our open house, take a clinic tour, and learn about resources available to the community.

đź’™ Walk-ins are welcome to apply to become a patient!
đź“ž Current patients are encouraged to call ahead to learn more about specific services and activities being offered just for you that day.

We can’t wait to welcome you to the clinic and share all the ways we’re here to support your health and well-being.

We are honored to recognize TowneBank as the recipient of this year’s Dr. Lou Ann McAdams Community Award at our annual Hearts & Hands Benefit! 💙

TowneBank’s generosity made it possible for Matthews Free Medical Clinic to purchase new computers for our entire facility, expand our dental program by retrofitting an exam room for dental hygiene services, and launch employer-sponsored health insurance for our staff for the first time.

Overflow parking is at 624 S Cedar St, Charlotte, NC 28202. All parking is complimentary, except for the numbered spots in the overflow lot.
