Wanting to jazz-up your salad and make it more nutritious? Try starting with a variety of nutrient dense greens such as spinach, kale, romaine, arugula, cabbage or broccoli slaw. Next, add a variety of colorful veggies and lean protein. Sprinkle in some healthy fats (think avocado, nuts, seeds, olive oil) and a little reduced fat cheese.
