New Beginnings Community Life Center offers mental health services, skills training, and space rental

The New Beginnings Community Counseling Center is an outgrowth of the Parakaleo Counseling Ministry started at New Beginnings Church in September 2010. In an effort to not only provide counseling, but also a multipurpose space to serve the local community, in October 2016, the New Beginnings Community Counseling Center was opened as the New Beginnings Community Life Center. To date hundreds of hours of counseling services have been provided to individuals, couples, and families to help restore hope, heal emotional wounds, strengthen relationships, and encourage personal growth.

Our Story

Why We Exist: New Beginnings Community Life Center desires to be a beacon within the community, demonstrating the love of God through service.

Our Mission: To impact individuals and elevate the community by providing a center offering mental health, counseling, education and supportive services.

Our Staff: Our services are provided by certified volunteer Lay and Pastoral Christian Counselors, a number of whom are also Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, and Human Services professionals. They are actively engaged in assisting others with their life’s challenges. Our Encouragers, as we refer to them, are equipped with the fundamentals of counseling to aide in the process of helping others to wholeness through basic attending skills with a biblical formation.

What We Offer: Counseling for individuals, couples, families, and groups. We have persons who can help facilitate coping with depression, grief, anxiety, substance abuse, and other challenges.
