This past weekend, over 40 Thompson foster families had an incredible experience attending their very first Charlotte FC match. ⚽💙

Thank you to Charlotte FC for helping create such a special moment for our foster families and children. We’re incredibly excited about our partnership and the opportunity to continue creating meaningful experiences and lasting memories for the families we serve.

Thompson’s Family Partners program is a unique form of peer support that provides coaching, guidance, and compassion to parents navigating challenging times while involved in the child welfare system. In partnership with Mecklenburg County’s Court Department of Social Services, Thompson employs Family Partners who are not only passionate professionals but also bring lived experience within the child welfare system.

Because they’ve walked a similar path, they are able to build meaningful connections with parents and help guide them through the process with understanding, support, and hope.

Our Family Centered Treatment (FCT) team came together for the FCT Day of Giving on Tuesday, serving lunch at the local Salvation Army. Teamwork, community service, and a little fun our FCT family does it all! Special thanks to our FCT Implementation Director, Aimee Byrd, for joining in the effort.

Thank you to for having us on to talk about our partnership with Audi charlotte. We’re truly grateful to Jeff Simmons and the entire team for their support and shared commitment to making a difference.

Through this partnership, a portion of every new Audi sold at the Audi Charlotte location goes directly back to supporting Thompson and the work being done to serve children and families in our community.

It’s inspiring to see local businesses and the community come together in ways that truly give back. Partnerships like this are a powerful reminder of what can happen when people rally around a shared purpose. 💜💜
