LifeLinks Mental Health attended the Eastern Illinois Health Fair yesterday and provided information on our First Episode of Psychosis Program, our Mobile Crisis Response program, and our Individual Placement and Support program. It was a great day meeting with students and networking with other community providers.

While everyone at LifeLinks contributes to su***de prevention, no team does it quite like our Crisis Team! They are out in our streets, in the hospitals, staying up late on calls, and so much more that may go unseen, but never unnoticed.

This year alone, the Crisis Team has screened 1,456 clients face to face and has taken over 756 calls! That’s over 2,000 su***de screens for 2025 alone!

A huge thank you to everyone on our Crisis Team. Our community is so very lucky to have you!

At LifeLinks Mental Health, we believe no one should face their struggles alone. Su***de touches families, friends, and neighbors in our community.

In honor of World Su***de Prevention Awareness month, we’ve placed purple candles in our windows to shine a light of hope and remembrance for those we’ve lost, and to stand beside those who are struggling.

The LifeLinks Mental Health crisis line is now working. If anyone is in need of crisis services, the Mobile Crisis Response team is available 24 hours a day by calling 1-866-567-2400

LifeLinks Mental Health is currently having issues with our crisis line. Consolidated is aware of the issue. If anyone is in need of crisis services please call 217-238-5700 and then press 1 from the hours of 9 to 5 Monday - Friday. When the office is closed plesse call 217-238-5700 and then press 7. The call will be transferred to the crisis line and a staff member can assist you.
