Cumberland County — We Need Your Voice!

Today is the LAST DAY to complete the Cumberland County ROSC Community Survey!

We are working hard to strengthen recovery supports, reduce stigma, and ensure individuals and families have access to the resources they need. But we can’t do that without YOU. 💜

Please take a few minutes to complete our survey before the deadline tonight.
Your feedback helps us:
• Identify gaps in services
• Understand what resources our community needs most
• Improve support for individuals and families impacted by substance use and mental health
• Guide future programs and funding

Every response truly makes a difference.
Your voice helps shape a healthier, more connected Cumberland County.

Take the survey today and share widely — this is your last chance!
Thank you for being part of the solution.

🎄💛 Sober Self-Care for the Holidays 💛🎄

The holiday season can bring joy — but it can also bring stress, triggers, busyness, and emotional overload. If you or someone you love is in recovery, remember that taking care of yourself is essential, not optional.

Our East Central Illinois ROSC team put together this helpful guide using the H.A.L.T. tool (Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired) plus a few extra wellness tips to help you stay grounded, connected, and supported this holiday season.

✨ A few reminders from the graphic:
🍽️ Eat regularly — skipping meals can affect your mood
💪 Move your body & get outside
💬 Reach out when you’re feeling lonely
😴 Protect your rest — 8 hours matters
🤝 Volunteer or help someone else
🙏 Practice gratitude
🎁 Create new, sober traditions that bring joy

Recovery is possible — and caring for yourself helps keep it strong. 💜
If you need support, reach out. You’re not alone.
