The Deschutes Rim Health Clinic is thrilled to announce the signing of Jennifer Lombardi, FNP, as our new full-time primary care provider for patients of all ages!
Jennifer brings a wealth of experience that makes her a perfect fit for South County. After 17 years in acute and chronic care nursing, she became a Certified Nurse Practitioner and has been practicing in Laramie, Wyoming. She spent three years in Urgent Care treating patients across the lifespan, followed by three more years providing primary care to residents in assisted living facilities.
Jennifer came highly recommended, with glowing references describing her as an exceptional find. Board members, our clinic administrator, Dr. Mike Pendleton, and Dr. Anslinger have all spent time with her touring the area, enjoying conversations over dinner, and expressing our collective excitement about her joining us to help relaunch full clinic operations.
Jennifer and her husband Brian plan on moving here in November. They love to fly fish and hunt. They will be bringing two hunting dogs, a raft, and a Clackacraft drift boat. She noted they will need to learn to fish from outside a boat, a new experience, because in Wyoming you can only fish from inside a boat—the land to mid-river is property of the land owners.
We’ll begin scheduling patient appointments as soon as insurance approvals are in place, which take a couple of months. Dr. Anslinger will continue seeing patients.
