We’re excited to share that Kai has immediate openings at Heart Line!

Kai is committed to creating an environment where people of all backgrounds and experiences feel comfortable being themselves and supported as they work through life’s challenges. Kai especially enjoys working with children and adolescents and has experience supporting individuals on the autism spectrum, while also working with clients across the lifespan. He approaches therapy with curiosity, compassion, and a strong belief that meaningful change happens when people feel understood and safe enough to explore their experiences at their own pace. Clients working with Kai can expect a supportive space focused on growth, understanding, and building confidence in navigating relationships, emotions, and life transitions.

Outside of counseling, Kai enjoys spending time with friends, playing games, being outdoors, and staying active, which reflects the balanced and approachable energy he brings into his work with clients.

Kai is currently scheduling in New Lisbon, Tomah, La Crosse, and Viroqua with virtual options available as well!

We offer in-person services at our locations in New Lisbon, Tomah, La Crosse, and Viroqua, as well as Telehealth throughout the entire state of Wisconsin. We also offer on-site services in some of the school districts!

Wisconsin decided to remind us it’s still winter! With the snow rolling in today into tomorrow, some of our clinicians may reach out about switching sessions to Telehealth for safety. If you hear from your therapist, please coordinate with them about moving your session online, or you are always welcome to reschedule for another day if you prefer to meet in person and Telehealth is not the best fit for you. We understand weather can sometimes cause last minute schedule changes and we truly appreciate your flexibility. At Heart Line, the safety of both our clients and our staff is always a priority. Thank you for working with us as we navigate another classic Wisconsin snowstorm after a tease of sunshine! Stay safe and warm! ☃️💙

Some events are hard to talk about, but incredibly important to show up for. Su***de prevention and mental health awareness carry stories of loss, struggle, survival, and hope. Many who attend walk in honor of someone they love, someone they miss, or someone they are trying to support through difficult times. There is both heaviness and beauty in that.

We are honored to be present each year at this event alongside so many members of our community who continue to show up for one another. Our team will be there offering mental health resources and support, but more importantly, simply standing together with a community that believes no one should have to face these struggles alone.

If you are able to attend, we hope you will join us in walking, remembering, supporting, and reminding one another that hope and connection matter.

Getting ready for the Farmer Appreciation Event this Thursday in Mauston! 🌾

Behind every field, every early morning, and every long season is a human being carrying stress, responsibility, and resilience. Farmers are some of the hardest working members of our communities, and they often carry that weight quietly.

At Heart Line Counseling, we believe mental health support should be accessible, approachable, and stigma free, especially in our rural communities. These small care packages are a simple reminder that taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of the land.

This summit brings together professionals across our region who are doing the work of supporting mental health, wellness, and resilient communities. It is a day rooted in learning, connection, and meaningful conversations with others who care deeply about this work.

We are looking forward to being part of this space again and continuing to show up alongside so many dedicated professionals.
