At Heart Line Counseling, we believe in showing up—with open hearts, listening ears, and the humility to simply be present. 💙

In recent weeks, our team has been honored to be part of several meaningful community events:

🦅 Community Resources Day at Mauston High School — Ronnie, our Operations Assistant, and Kayla, our owner, connected with students and shared resources to remind them that they never walk their journeys alone.

💛 Su***de Prevention Summit at UW–La Crosse — Kayla and Heather, one of our Viterbo interns, joined professionals from across the region to strengthen prevention, assessment, and intervention efforts.

🕊️ Su***de Awareness Event — The very next day, Kayla and her family attended to support both a colleague and a dear friend. The stories shared that day were raw, powerful, and full of resilience. They reminded us that community connection is not only professional—it is also deeply personal, and it matters.

👩‍⚖️ Conference on Child Welfare and the Courts — Kayla recently joined judges, lawyers, county child welfare professionals, and other system leaders who are at the very heart of this work. Together, they shared inspiring initiatives designed to support children and their families as they navigate the court system, including efforts that integrate mental health care and promote family well-being.

Each of these moments has left us humbled and grateful. They remind us why we do this work: to walk alongside people in their hardest seasons, to carry hope when it feels too heavy, and to build bridges of connection and care.

And while we still haven’t mastered the art of packing “just the right amount” of brochures 😉, we know that if even one sparks a conversation that leads to hope, every box is worth it.

We’re so thankful to be welcomed into these spaces and look forward to continuing to serve our communities with compassion, collaboration, and servant leadership.

🌿✨ Welcome to the HLCC Team, Sr. Flora! ✨🌿

We are so excited to introduce Sr. Flora, our newest intern from Viterbo University, who is now accepting new patients at Heart Line Counseling & Consulting! 💙

Flora is a Roman Catholic Religious nun from the Nazareth Sisters of The Annunciation and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Viterbo. She brings a compassionate, faith-filled, and integrative approach to counseling—drawing from both Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) practices.

In addition to mental health counseling, Flora also provides spiritual counseling, creating space for mind, body, and spirit healing. She has a special gift for listening deeply, honoring each person’s experiences, and walking alongside them in their journey of growth.

At Heart Line Counseling, we are proud to introduce our Hopeful Hearts Resource Center — a community-based initiative designed to meet practical needs with compassion.

Currently available in our Tomah and New Lisbon locations, the Resource Center is stocked with:
💙 Clothing
💙 Non-perishable food items
💙 School supplies
💙 Other donated essentials

We’re hopeful to expand this effort to our other locations soon, ensuring that families throughout our communities have access to these supports.

As part of this initiative, our Hopeful Hearts Resource Center is now stocked with FREE school supplies for patients and community members. Whether it’s a binders, notebooks, or just a few extras to get through the week, these resources are here for you!

👉 Reach out to schedule a time to browse, or simply pick up what you need at your next appointment.

And while we’re giving, we’re also asking: we’re still collecting tissue (Kleenex) donations to help support local classrooms. Something as simple as a box of tissues can make a world of difference for teachers and students this year. 🍎
