It’s Earth Day…

So let’s talk about something most people don’t think about enough:

Your environment is shaping your health every single day.

Not just the big things—
but the small, consistent exposures.

The air you breathe
The water you drink
The products you use
The food you eat

Let’s be honest…

If your body is constantly dealing with low-level stress from your environment, it *changes how your body functions.*

This weekend at a conference, I had one of those moments where things just clicked again…

We talk a lot about symptoms—
low energy, brain fog, poor sleep, mood swings—

But we don’t talk enough about what’s actually missing.

Let’s be honest…

Your body can’t function properly if it doesn’t have what it needs.
And this is where people get stuck.

Because most testing only looks at what’s happening right now in your blood.

That’s your serum levels—basically a short-term snapshot.

But here’s the thing…

That doesn’t tell us what your body has actually had access to over time.

It doesn’t tell us what your cells have been running on.

And that’s the piece most people miss.

The micronutrient testing I use looks at your nutrient levels over the past 4–6 months—inside the cells.

So instead of guessing, we can actually see:
Are you low in the nutrients your body needs to make energy?
Support your mood?
Regulate sleep?
Handle stress?

Because if you’re deficient…

Your body will struggle.
Not because it’s broken—
but because it doesn’t have the resources.

Today, taking time for myself looked like the gym.

Not because I needed to do something extreme.
Not because I had hours to spare.
Just 15–30 minutes to move, reset, and give my body a boost.

And honestly, that counts.

Here’s the thing… taking care of yourself does not always have to be deep, complicated, or time-consuming. Sometimes it starts with a short workout, a walk, stretching, or anything that helps you come back to yourself.

Those small choices matter more than people think.

They help raise your endorphins.
They help clear your mind.
They help your body feel supported instead of pushed.

And this is the piece most people miss… you do not have to earn rest or care. You do not have to wait until everything falls apart to give yourself a little attention.

15–30 minutes can change the direction of your day.

And I love running into clients at the gym… building strength and endurance and just taking time for themselves!

Today is a beautiful reminder that renewal is possible.

So many people are used to living in survival mode, pushing through fatigue, brain fog, stress, and symptoms they can’t fully explain. But here’s the thing: it’s not random, and your body is not working against you.

Healing starts with hope.
It starts with slowing down enough to listen.
And it starts with believing that restoration is possible.
