We kept everyone fueled with a 🌮 walking taco bar, 🔥🍫 s’mores station, and 🍿🍿 popcorn (because champions need snacks 😉).

Now… the residents say they won 😏
The staff says we won 😎

🤷‍♀️ Either way… EVERYBODY WON because the laughs 😂, friendly competition 💪, and good vibes 💙 were off the charts!
That’s how we stay warm all winter long 🙌🎉

Baby, it’s been COLD outside ❄️🥶
…but here at the Village, we kept the fun turned ALL the way up 😎🔥
This week brought the joy:
🍿 National Popcorn Day = happy crunching and big smiles
🛎️ Auction time = laughs, excitement, and friendly competition
🎨☕ Winter coffee mugs = cozy, creative masterpieces
A HUGE thank you to Leslie with Miracle City Hospice 🙌💐
She did an amazing job leading our auction and truly brought the energy! We are so grateful for your time, heart, and support of our residents 💛✨
Cold weather outside…

Our very first Wine Down Wednesday was poured, sipped, and nailed 🍷

Hosted by our incredible ED, Patrice 💃🏽, and let’s just say—this one was a full-blown success.

Great vibes, good laughs, even better company, and just enough wine to keep the energy flowing 😉

🌸 Today at Governor’s Village = Pure Joy! 🌸

We were showered with love thanks to a gorgeous flower delivery from Big Hearted Bloom 🌷🌼—and because one sweet moment is never enough, we topped it off by making s’mores! 🔥🍫
Toasty marshmallows, melty chocolate, happy hearts, and lots of smiles all around 😊✨

This is what community, connection, and a really good day look like.

Our residents were fully engaged, smiling, and thoroughly entertained. Experiences like this remind us that joy, wonder, and community are always worth investing in.🍹✨

Taco Tuesday, but make it mobile!

Today we took Taco Tuesday on the road ... literally! Residents and staff enjoyed walking tacos as we strolled the halls, passing out smiles, crunch, and a whole lot of joy.

Good food, great company, and proof that sometimes the best moments come in a bag. 🌮✨

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michele Golden, a cherished member of our community.

Michelle was more than a colleague, she was a constant source of dedication, compassion, and heart. Her impact was felt not only through her work, but through the countless lives she touched with her kindness, commitment, and willingness to step in wherever she was needed. She showed up, she cared deeply, and she made a difference.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Michelle’s family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her during this incredibly difficult time. She will be deeply missed by our entire community.

As we navigate this loss together, we encourage everyone to take care of themselves and one another.

A Memorial Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services, located at 29801 Lakeland Blvd, Wickliffe, Ohio. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

🎸It’s safe to say Elvis was IN the building! 🎸

Today our residents enjoyed an amazing show in honor of Elvis Presley’s birthday 👑🎶

There was singing, clapping, toe-tapping, and plenty of smiles as the King’s music filled the room. The energy was high, the vibe was classic, and everyone was truly all shook up! 💃🕺
Thank you to our entertainer Jim Crisswell for bringing the spirit of Elvis and making today such a hit! Long live the King! 👑🎤

🐦 National Bird Day 🐦

Today we celebrated our feathered friends by creating cardinals in different colors! While cardinals are traditionally known for their bright red beauty, we had fun exploring creativity, individuality, and a little artistic freedom.

These moments aren’t just about art, they’re about expression, connection, and joy. And today? We checked all the boxes. 🎨❤️

As we welcome a new year, we pause with grateful hearts to reflect on the one we’re leaving behind.

Our residents reminded us what resilience looks like. Our families trusted us with what matters most. And our team proved, day after day, that care is not just a job—it’s a calling.

We don’t take any of that lightly.

As we step into this new year, we carry forward our commitment to dignity, joy, compassion, and meaningful living. We look ahead with hope, purpose, and a renewed promise to continue creating a place where hearts are known, stories are honored, and life is celebrated at every stage.

🐾 Pet Therapy Day + Auction Fun! 🐾
This was a win for the heart and the soul. Our residents enjoyed the comfort, joy, and unconditional love that only pet therapy can bring—tails wagging, smiles blooming, stress melting.
We also hosted an auction that sparked laughter, friendly competition, and meaningful engagement. Moments like these remind us why enrichment matters: connection, purpose, and joy at every stage of life.
💙 A heartfelt thank-you to Miracle City Hospice for providing this wonderful opportunity, and to Leslie for your kindness and continued support.
And a special thank-you to Minnie and Rosie Dog Training Elite Northeast Ohio for the pet therapy love and for hanging out with us—you brought so much joy to our residents! 🐾❤️
This is the mission. This is the impact. And this is why we do what we do.
