For nearly 3000 years man has searched for the lost Ark of the Covenant…Today people search for Easter eggs and a legendary workout class. Well, you don’t have to travel to Tanis to discover either, just grab your fedora and whip on over to the Well of Souls of Health 360 on Saturday, April 4th, at 10:00am for a workout so good it will melt your face off at the Raiders of the Lost Ark 45th Anniversary Workout. You might not find fortune and glory at the workout, but you will feel like you leveled mountains, laid waste to entire regions, and be invincible. Before you eat all the Easter candy, you won’t want to pass through history and miss out on the greatest adventure workout of all time, and as always…it will be fun. $20 and all members, nonmembers, friends, and family are welcome.

Thanks to those mathletes and leprechauns who shamrocked and rolled this morning and celebrated π Day. Everything about the class was irrational for the 3.14 rounds of exercises. We even finished off with a gut strengthening, immunity building, protein packed key lime π made with yogurt, cottage cheese, dates, apples, spinach, protein powder, limes, and various mushrooms and greens powders. (presentation wasn’t the best as the crust was rather crumbly)

A lot of people trying to get in shape are stuck… and they don’t even realize why.

It’s not because you’re lazy.
It’s not because you “love food too much.”

It’s because you’re trying to do everything at once.

Most people think getting lean means cutting out sweets, carbs, alcohol, fast food, all of it.
So they go all in. Cold turkey. Super strict.

And then a week later?
They’re face first in a box of donuts wondering what’s wrong with them.

I’ve been there.

What I learned is this, you don’t need to remove the foods you enjoy. You need a structure for them.

Instead of pretending I’d never eat dessert again, I made a plan for it.

I literally wrote down the foods I crave the most. Then I picked a couple days a month where I could enjoy them without guilt.

And every other day?
Simple rules:

Eat mostly whole foods

Hit your protein

Train consistently

Move daily

Nothing extreme. Just repeatable.

That’s when progress finally started sticking.

And here’s the real question…

Is all this effort worth it just to lose some fat?

If it’s just about fat, probably not.

But it’s never just about fat.

It’s about waking up and not feeling disappointed in yourself.

It’s about having energy.

It’s about putting clothes on and not overthinking how you look.

It’s about proving to yourself that you can follow through.

Fat loss is just the side effect.
Self-respect is the real goal.

Well, it’s a special holiday workout...again...and once again your eyes are turned here, to this...tiny gym in northeast Ohio...blah, blah, blah, blah...There is no way these holiday classes are “ever” going to end as long as John keeps seeing his shadow and he’s gotta be stopped...What would you do if you were stuck in one place and every day was exactly the same, and nothing you did mattered?
