Well… if there were ever a card for Valentine’s Day landing on Friday the 13th, this might be it.

In the Pulp Tarot image, a vivid red heart floats against a stormy sky, pierced clean through by three sharp blades. The clouds swirl dramatically behind it, like an old noir film frozen at the most intense moment. It’s bold. It’s theatrical. It doesn’t pretend heartbreak is subtle.

But here’s the twist: the heart is still there. Still strong. Still beating.

The Three of Swords is not just about betrayal or sadness. It’s about truth cutting through illusion. It’s about conversations that sting but set you free. It’s about acknowledging the crack in the story instead of pretending it isn’t there.

Friday the 13th asks us to lean into what feels “unlucky.” Valentine’s Day asks us to lean into love.

The Three of Swords says you can do both. You can honor the ache and still believe in love. You can let the storm roll through and trust that clarity follows.

Sometimes the bravest Valentine is the one who feels it all and keeps their heart open anyway.

What truth is asking to pierce through so your heart can finally heal?

Remember, the magic is in the cards, and the power is in you.

Message from the Cards

8 of Cups - The Lovers Path Tarot

In this card, the sea is restless. Waves crash against the shore as a crescent moon hangs quietly in the sky. Eight ornate cups stand in the foreground, beautifully arranged, yet something is missing. A woman leans over her lover on the rocky sand, her hand tenderly at his face, caught in a moment of love… and realization.

This card is not about drama. It is about awakening.

The cups are full of history, effort, shared emotion. But the tide is shifting. The water behind them churns with truth. Sometimes love asks us to see clearly. Sometimes the most powerful Valentine is the one where we admit what our heart already knows.

The 8 of Cups reminds us that devotion does not mean self-abandonment. You can love deeply and still recognize when it is time to step toward something more aligned, more mutual, more whole.

Remember, The magic is in the cards, and the power is in you.

Daily Draw from Tarot Phil 🔮
Pulp Tarot | Five of Pentacles

A cold city night. Snow drifting down. Neon signs glow while a woman clutches a child and keeps moving forward. This card knows scarcity: financial stress, loneliness, feeling shut out or left behind while the world keeps spinning.

But here’s the thing the Five of Pentacles always whispers: you are not as alone as you think. Help exists, even if pride, fear, or exhaustion makes it hard to see. Warmth is nearby. Support is closer than it appears. Sometimes survival itself is an act of courage.

So tell me… where could you ask for help instead of struggling in silence?

Remember, the magic is in the cards and the power is in you!!

TarotPhil Daily Draw
Card: The Hierophant
Deck: The Schitty Tarot

Today’s card arrives dressed to teach, bless, and absolutely serve: The Hierophant from the Schitty Tarot, channeling Moira Rose at David’s wedding

This card is tradition with intention. Ceremony with soul. It reminds us that meaning isn’t found in rules alone, but in the love we choose to sanctify. Like Moira, The Hierophant shows us that guidance can be dramatic, sincere, and deeply transformative all at once.

Today we honor the brilliance of Catherine O’Hara, whose presence taught us that authenticity is sacred, and that chosen family is the holiest vow of all.

Where are you being invited to honor your truth and make it ceremonial?

Remember, the magic is in the cards and the power is in you!!!

❄️ Snow Day Message from Tarot Phil ❄️
Deck: Winter Season Tarot
Card: Page of Swords

Perched on snow-dusted branches, the Page of Swords appears as a bright blue bird, alert and curious, carrying a tiny satchel as snow quietly falls. Even in the stillness of winter, the mind is awake; watching, learning, asking questions.

Today’s snow day message: curiosity doesn’t hibernate. This is a moment to observe, to gather thoughts, to let fresh ideas land softly like snowflakes. You don’t need all the answers yet, just stay open, inquisitive, and ready to learn.

Winter slows the world, but the Page reminds us that clarity often comes in quiet moments.

Snow day wisdom: pause, notice, and let new ideas take flight.

What new thought or question is following you today?

Remember, the magic is in the cards and the power is in you!!!

❄️ Snow Day Tarot Message from Tarot Phil ❄️
Deck: Winter Waite Tarot
Card: King of Cups

On this snow-blanketed day, the King of Cups arrives wrapped in fur, seated calmly on an icy throne as snow drifts all around him. One hand holds a golden cup glowing with warmth and feeling, the other a steady scepter anchored in the frozen ground. The world may be cold, quiet, and a little unpredictable, but he remains composed, compassionate, and deeply in control of his inner tides.

Today’s message is a reminder that emotional steadiness is your superpower. Let the snow slow you down. Tend to your feelings without letting them overwhelm you. Lead with kindness, patience, and emotional maturity—especially when everything outside feels frozen or chaotic.

This is a perfect day to check in with your heart, offer yourself grace, and respond rather than react. The King of Cups doesn’t deny emotion, rather, he masters it.

Snow day wisdom: stay warm, stay gentle, and let calm lead the way.

How can you show emotional balance and compassion for yourself today?

Remember, the magic is in the cards and the power is in you!!
