Our residents had a blast today making homemade chocolate-covered strawberry turkeys. The creativity was overflowing, the chocolate was flowing even more, and the smiles were the best part of all.

These little turkey treats turned out adorable and made for a fun, festive way to kick off the holiday spirit. Moments like these remind us how special it is to bring joy, connection, and a little sweetness into the day.

On Thanksgiving Day, we pause and reflect on the many blessings that shape our lives. We’re especially grateful for our wonderful residents who bring warmth and purpose to each day, for the families who support and trust us, and for the staff whose compassion makes our home feel truly special.

IT’S HUNTING SEASON!!

Today our residents geared up, took aim, and had an absolute BLAST during our nerf gun hunting season!

Special thanks to our friends at the Mason County Extension office for this amazing activity AND students from Mason County FFA.

Our residents even got to try some exquisite foods like:
Venison stew
Beaver gumbo
Duck and potatoes
Turtle
And peach crisp!

Today we gathered around the table as a family - sharing laughter, stories and a delicious Thanksgiving feast!
Our residents enjoyed a cozy, home cooked meal surrounded by friends, family, staff and plenty of holiday cheer!
A huge THANK YOU to our dietary team and caregivers who made this day so special. Your love and dedication fill every plate and warm every heart!

Spooky fun today at MNRF!

Our residents and team really got into the Halloween spirit with our annual costume contest! From the classic witches, to the scary clowns and all the originals in between!

It’s been a day filled with laughter, treats and touch of spooky magic!
