The Kentucky Moms Matter team knows connection is powerful. They made time to bond, laugh, and have fun at the arcade. KMM supports pregnant and parenting women through connection, care, and prevention-based education. Stronger moms=Stronger families. Let's plan for more joy, support, and strength in 2026.

Most Kentucky youth aren't va**ng (YRBS 2023) and that's a win for their health. Staying ni****ne-free means more energy, better focus, and easier breathing for school, sports, or just feeling good day to day. Let the outh in your life know; if staying active matters, staying ni****ne-free matters too.

Strong choices start with strong plans--what protective steps will you take in 2026? Let's work towards healthier families and communities by focusing on connection, honest conversations, and support. Opening up about ni****ne and va**ng early builds trust and helps youth stay tobacco-free.

Protective factors grow when we plan for them--what will you build in 2026? As we look ahead, let's create stronger families and safer communities by planning for connection, communication, and care. Talking early and often about cannabis use is one way to build trust and resilience- especially with youth. Set goals. Make space for conversations. Strengthen protective factors. Your plans today can help protect you tomorrow.

As the year winds down, take a moment to check in-not just on grades or goals, but on how your child is really feeling. The holidays are a perfect time to reconnect, reflect, and reset. Ask open-ended questions, listen without judgement. Talk about choices, challenges, and what's ahead. Set a shared goal for the new year- whether it's more family dinners, less screen time, or staying substance free together. These conversations matter- and they don't have to end with the calendar year. SAMHSA has a "Talk they Hear you" campaign that empowers parents and caregivers of children under 21 to prevent underage drinking and substance use.
