2nd Obstructive Sleep Apnea Symposium 2025. What an amazing multidisciplinary conference with the theme, “Systemic Manifestations and Current Management of Sleep Apnea,”. We highlighted the interdisciplinary consequences of OSA and evolving approaches to its diagnosis and treatment. We had a diverse group of speakers representing pulmonology, ophthalmology, neurology, psychiatry, anesthesiology, otolaryngology, and dentistry. with keynote speaker : Shahrokh Javaheri, MD, FCCP, FAASM.

✨ Loyola was well represented at the Midwest Eye Research Symposium (MERS) at the University of Iowa on August 8, 2025! Four of our trainees — Ethan Teich, Baraa Hussein, Jacob Espeland, and Hussein AbuQtaish — shared their work through poster presentations, and Dr. Simon Kaja delivered a platform talk. A fantastic showing of talent, teamwork, and innovation in vision science! 👏
