Please Read!

After much much careful consideration, we as a family, have decided to make Simply Clean Handcrafted Soaps LLC a pop up shop that will be available for purchases 1-2 days a week.

We have had SUCH a rough time since opening. We aren't busy enough to pay help and we aren't busy enough for me to be here all day and all week either, as I do have alot of other things going on. We have had 15 customers this month 😳 that's an average of less than 1 a day.

Year 2 and 3, I have been basically working for free with no profit and recently, we are putting our own money in to stay afloat. 😅 So, I do think I'm doing too much with trying to have a solid store front.

I have said from the beginning, I'm not here to make money. I'm only here to help and because this is my passion that I love to share.
With that being said, I am NOT quitting or going away, but we will open as a pop up shop.

Some weeks, I may open 2 or 3 times a week, some maybe only 1 depending on what I have available at the time and sales. I plan to turn over some of my current space to the gym for other use, but as I said, we will do tables as a pop up type of thing.

I will likely only carry my own products. Unless business is good, then I may consider otherwise.

We will remain open normal hours to give my employee time to find other arrangements. Depending how fast that happens will depend when the changes take place.

I hope you guys understand. I had high hopes that after the big close, things would be better when we opened back up. But it hasn't proven to be the case. Unfortunately. It just isnt possible right now to keep going in the same way that I am.

I feel like these changes will make a difference in my ability to restock without putting my own money in to make it happen.

If you made it this far, I appreciate you listening. I wanted to be real and upfront. Hopefully this doesn't come off as whiney 🫠😅🤍

A little reintroduction for all of our new followers!

I try to do this once a year, just to give you some faces behind the brand.

We are the Epps Family 🤍

A little about us. We are a family of 4. We have 2 amazing boys, 11 and 4(almost 5). I'm(Amanda) a nurse by trade and my husband is a loan officer, but also he's a volunteer basketball coach in his spare time.

We own Simply Clean Handcrafted Soaps LLC and Swish City McAlester. Swish City is where he trains kiddos to increase their skills and basketball knowledge, but we also run a program where we have up to SEVEN teams now and we give these kids the opportunity to go play basketball outside of their normal school ball season.

One reason we started this is because our 11 year old LOVES basketball and has been working his tail off since he could pick up a basketball. My husband also played basketball up to the college level and has a big passion for it AND helping kids to gain skills and confidence.

Outside of this, we ALSO have a farm at home. We raise cattle, have chickens(like alot of chickens 😆🥰), and we have 1 single jersey milk cow who I love dearly. And numerous cats and dogs, of course.
We do alot of what i like to call "Homesteading" we work to be as independent as possible thru our home. I have a passion for cooking from scratch, when i have the time 😅

About our business, my baby, the one I literally built from my kitchen! I love to cook from scratch, so why wouldn't I love to make as many of our home products as possible, too!

It all started with making 1 brick of soap for our own personal use. I loved keeping things as simple and natural as possible. There's something about making a product or food and knowing EXACTLY what's in it. It gives you peace of mind, knowing you're giving your family something that won't harm them, it's ingredients you trust and can pronounce.

I started up this business to do the same for those around me at the cheapest price possible. It isn't fair that you can buy junk for pennies on the dollar, but if you want something clean, without chemicals, without carcinogens, you have to pay the price.

Ingredients have taken a hike with the influx of people wanting to be more clean and natural, but I do my best to keep my prices down and still deliver a great product AND try to keep my doors open.

We've had a store front for 3 years. With a 1 year closure while we moved locations. I've met some of the best people and have had so much support from total strangers who have become friends.

I've always said, I have the BEST customers around. And it still stands.

Come shop with us! Every purchase gets put right back into this store to keep improving. This isn't a get rich quick type of deal. TRUST ME 😆 This is me doing my best to help others live a cleaner lifestyle and invest back in to continue to grow and make this place a better and better place to shop.

Is there something you'd love to see here that you're waiting for or wanting that I don't carry?

Are the hours ok for everyone's schedules?

Have you found us ok? Or having trouble.

We are trying to scope some things out to see what would be the next best move, so I'd love to hear your thoughts? We are tossing around the idea of going seasonal.

Let me tell you a story.....

I rave on this stuff all the time and it may seem like over hype. BUT yesterday, this saved me yet again!

Mon-wed I've been home this week and I've been working on farm stuff outside. Yesterday, I was moving a panel and I wasn't hulking it or doing too much. I was working smart so I didn't strain too much. But I did something to my lower back. When I tell you I barely made it up the hill to the house, I mean it. I had trouble even lifting my legs to go up my steps. It was SHOOTING pain. (I must've punched a nerve)

Anyway, I came in and immediately rubbed some mag cream on because it's my literal lifeline and my back felt so tight. I still could not bend at the waist, so I walked around for a bit and tried to do small stretches.

I've thrown my back all the way out before and been down for over a week so I was just praying this wasn't gonna be the case.

Within a couple of hours, I was back to normal. It was like it never happened.

100% would not be without this product. It's good for SO MANY THINGS, but yesterday it saved me big time.

I'm not posting this just to sell you something. I'm posting it because i truly believe this is something that can help everyone.
