The Forecast:

Freezing Rain: Possible late Saturday night into early Sunday morning.

Road Hazards: Use extreme caution! Even light freezing rain will make roads and bridges slippery and dangerous.

Extreme Cold: Freezing temperatures are expected every night through Monday.

A Disaster Recovery Center has been established at the Las Palmas Community Center, located at 1921 N 25th St, McAllen Texas, to assist residents affected by the flooding that occurred on March 26-28, 2025.
The center is open daily from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, where residents can apply in person. Applications are also available online at disasterassistance.gov or by calling 800-621-3362.
Eligible individuals may apply for:
Temporary housing
Emergency home repairs
Uninsured or underinsured personal property losses
Disaster-related medical, dental, and funeral expenses
Disaster unemployment assistance
Disaster legal services
