We were honored to receive the Community Partner Appreciation Award from UTRGV University College ( ) in recognition of our partnership with Professor Erika Perez and her incredible students ✨

Across the last two semesters, these students helped prepare over 132,000 reproductive and sexual health materials — from condoms and pads, to reminder postcards, door hangers, and emergency contraceptives — all of which will reach and support thousands in our community.

Thank you to every student who showed up, volunteered, and gave their time. Your impact is big, meaningful, and deeply felt🧡

No stigma, no guessing games, just acknowledging the reality that period pain can be intense and unpredictable. For many, that kind of flexibility could mean feeling supported instead of pushed to power through discomfort.

It’s interesting to think about how a policy like this could shift workplace culture around menstrual and reproductive health.
