The agency has been serving Hidalgo County since 1997 and provides skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and provider services (PAS and SPW). was founded in 1997 by the current owners, David and Letty Rutledge. David and Letty are both registered nurses who are committed to providing professional nursing and therapy services to their home health and long-term care patients who live in Hidalgo County. In 2007, Letty received her master’s in nursing degree and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. As an advanced practice nurse, Letty oversees the care of all of our clients to ensure each client is given the best individualized care possible. to provide our clients with the basic knowledge, skills, and new behaviors that will help them participate in self-management, recover from illness or injury, and achieve better health. employs an interdisciplinary team of experienced Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Home Health Aides, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists formally trained to care for patients in their homes. We believe that kindness, compassion, and integrity are equally as important as knowledge and experience when it comes to caring for our clients. We strive to employ staff members that share our professional values and demonstrate honesty and integrity in all aspects of business and patient care.

Abundant Health Care is looking for a contract LVN to help with evening visits (between 5pm-9pm) for home health patients. Mostly for diabetic patients needing assistance with PM or HS doses of insulin. May have some days with no patients, and some days with several patients. All patients are within Hidalgo County. At least 1 year of nursing experience required, with home health experience preferred.
