Oversimplification. But you get the point. 🎯
For years, I thought nutrients & foods mattered most. And don’t get me wrong food does matter. But it’s the light 🔆 that triggers hormonal signaling that tells your body what to do with that food, store it or burn it.
When hormone signaling is off, even though you are fed, your body perceives starvation & ramps up cravings so you continue to eat more.
It’s what the brain perceives 🧠 🤯
The good news you have control over how much light you get… and when you get it. Sleep in & miss morning light? Missed opportunity. 😓
Stay up late & soak artificial light.💡Chaos & disruption.
My fave phrase lately: “Stop fighting biology. You won’t win. Learn to embrace it.” Then maybe you’ll have a chance.
