Invitation to Participate in a Caregiver Language Development Survey

Dear Caregiver,
You are invited to take part in a voluntary and anonymous research survey being conducted through the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. The purpose of this study is to learn more about how Spanish-speaking families in the Rio Grande Valley support their children’s language development and what types of resources may be most helpful.
If you choose to participate, you will complete a short online survey about your background, your child’s language use, and your experiences in home, school, and medical settings. The survey takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. Your responses will be anonymous, and no identifying information will be collected.
Participation is completely voluntary. You may skip any question or stop the survey at any time.

Usted está invitado/a a participar en una encuesta voluntaria y anónima realizada por la Universidad de Texas del Valle del Río Grande. El propósito de este estudio es conocer cómo las familias hispanohablantes del Valle del Río Grande apoyan el desarrollo del lenguaje de sus hijos y qué tipos de recursos podrían ser más útiles.
Si decide participar, completará una breve encuesta en línea sobre su experiencia, el uso del lenguaje de su hijo/a y sus experiencias en el hogar, la escuela y entornos médicos. La encuesta toma aproximadamente 10–15 minutos. Sus respuestas serán anónimas y no se recopilará información personal.
