Adding a ball between the feet may not change the movement but it completely changes the engagement.
The prop provides connection and proprioceptive feedback. As you gently squeeze the ball, the adductors activate, the pelvic floor responds and the powerhouse engages more deeply to support the spine and pelvis. This creates greater stability, control and awareness throughout the body.
Performing the same exercise without the ball can feel familiar, but adding the prop shifts the intensity, muscle recruitment and focus. The work becomes more intentional, more connected and more precise.
